Contemporary Photography in Hawai’i 2018

Contemporary Photography in Hawai’i 2018 is the Tenth Annual Survey Exhibition Sponsored by Pacific New Media Foundation.

I’m honored that my photograph, Three Palms, will join 44 other images that were selected by PNM Core Faculty: Alison Beste, David Ulrich, & Tracy Wright Corvo for inclusion in the exhibit.

The jurors jointly stated:

“This year, we received over 300 entries and accepted 45 images for the exhibition…

We were pleased to find many themes that mirror both the mood of our times and the prevailing issues of the day: immigration, climate change, identity, displacement, and culture in its many forms, as well as images that explore the ocean, land, and environment of Hawai‘i.”

The exhibit will be on display at The Arts at Marks Garage from August 3 to 31, 2018.
