Contemporary Landscape-PhotoPlace Gallery

Diamond Head Roofs was selected to be part of the Contemporary Landscape exhibit at PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont from October 10 – November 2, 2019.

Jurors Jacob and Alissa Hessler stated:

“Most of the imagery we selected had weight to it – a feeling of loss, a feeling of hope, or the last gasp of breath before the storm. We selected photographs beyond what some might categorize as a landscape image – including work focusing on the human landscape and our interaction and relationship with the natural world.”

An archive of the exhibit can be found here.

Diamond Head Roofs is part of the City Scenes portfolio where I make images of the beauty and contradiction that exists within the complex array of structures that make up the city and suburbs.
